Technical Operations Manager (Part-time)

Seeking a unique individual with a combination of electrical and mechanical skills and strong customer communications skills to assemble and support equipment for a variety of customers.

Duties include:

  • Hands-on Product Assembly and Part Manufacturing
  • Part Sourcing
  • Hardware Repair
  • Maintaining vendor relationships and contracts
  • Purchasing (stock/inventory/supplies)
  • Tech Support
  • Software bug tracking and reporting
  • Quality Control
  • New product development and prototyping
  • Customer support/customer care
  • Product Demonstration
  • Technical sales support
  • Shipping/Receiving (international)
  • Inventory


BS or equivalent with a basic understanding of biochemistry.
Hands-on experience assembling and supporting electrical/mechanical equipment.
Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot and solve issues.
Experience communicating professionally and promptly with customers via email, phone and skype video.
Desire to help customers achieve success.
Flexibility and ability to wear many hats in a small, entrepreneurial environment.
